Our staffing team has partnered with a state government agency to assist in their search for a Software Developer 3 in Austin, Texas. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and developing complex existing software applications, including making changes to embedded business logic, user interfaces, and SQL-based processes.

Major duties

• Amend, enhance, and develop existing software systems using Microsoft .NET Core, C++, Entity Framework Core, and related technologies.
• Analyze, map, and modify complex business logic and business processes embedded within graphical user interfaces and database procedures.
• Maintain and update systems that utilize large, complex, and deeply nested Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures.
• Develop and support application functionality using MVC, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Microsoft Identity.
• Troubleshoot existing applications and implement complex system changes while maintaining established functionality and business requirements.

What are we looking for?

• 8 years of experience with Microsoft .NET Core Framework.
• 4 years of experience with C++ and 4 years of experience with Entity Framework Core.
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including experience working with complex stored procedures.
• At least 1 year of experience with MVC, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Microsoft Identity.
• Demonstrated experience understanding and modifying complex existing systems, embedded business logic, business processes, and database-driven applications.

• W2 Contract

• 6-month temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for full-time employment based on performance
• Candidates must currently live in the Austin area; candidates located outside the Austin area will not be considered
