Job Description
Our staffing partner has partnered with a state education agency to assist in their search for a Product Support Analyst 3. In this remote position, you will serve as the Product Owner for the migration of a critical student data application to its next-generation platform, leading product ownership, project management, business analysis, testing, documentation, vendor coordination, and implementation activities.

Major duties
- Serve as Product Owner for the migration of the Unique ID (UID) application from version 11 to the 2026 platform, overseeing requirements, prioritization, planning, and solution delivery.
- Lead project planning, coordination, and execution while managing timelines, priorities, risks, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
- Act as a primary business liaison between internal stakeholders, development teams, leadership, and the third-party vendor, facilitating communication and issue resolution.
- Develop a thorough understanding of current UID functionality, business processes, and stakeholder needs; identify opportunities for modernization, process improvement, and increased efficiency.
- Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, requirements, business process documentation, operational procedures, and other product management artifacts.
- Coordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), production-readiness activities, and go-live assessments to verify that functionality meets business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution while ensuring testing addresses critical business processes and scenarios.
- Support post-implementation stabilization and collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Document current-state and future-state processes and system functionality, ensuring materials are accurate, complete, and aligned with established standards.
- Develop knowledge-transfer materials and support training and onboarding activities for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Provide regular project status updates, identify potential issues, and recommend mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery.
- 8+ years of experience in Product Ownership, including managing requirements, prioritization, and solution delivery.
- 8+ years of Project Management experience overseeing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
- 8+ years of experience with software documentation, including documenting software issues, release notes, technical guides, business processes, or related materials.
- 8+ years of experience coordinating activities, deliverables, and issue-resolution efforts with external vendors.
- 8+ years of experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 8+ years of experience demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and project-related tasks.
- 8+ years of experience providing training and support to team members.
- 8+ years of customer service experience with strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Preferred: 8+ years of LEA- or vendor-level experience working with the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) and its data collections.
- Preferred: 8+ years of technical writing experience creating clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Rate: $65.00/hr
- W2 Contract
- Contract Dates: 10 months
- Worksite Location: 100% Remote
